I have been visiting spas for over 25 years as my hobby. I retired from medical sales at the age of forty and began blogging just a few of years ago.  I have experienced hundreds of spa treatments at a wide variety of spas. It is not unusual for me to burn through an entire spa treatment menu while on vacation or hit a few spas at a bigger destinations. I choose spas for business travel, family travel, or with specific bucket list destinations or activities in mind. I always intend on visiting the best spa(s) available on my trips. I also seek out unusual treatments.  It can be tricky to find treatments in remote locations or to sift through all the spa and treatment options in popular destinations. If I have been there, you can be assured I have done the leg work for you. I hope that I can be a trusted friend and resource, sharing only the spas worth a second visit. I do not include pricing on this site as it can change often. You can be assured that if I say luxury, it generally comes with a higher price, and those spas are my first choice in availabiliy.  I also like to visit affordable spas which can provide great vacation values and are generally found in remote locations on this site.

Also, you will only find positive reviews on this site as any sub par places have been intentionally left out. For a complete list of all the spas I have visited, please find my boards on Pinterest. To discuss spa travel, please find my Spa& Wellness Group on Facebook, my Facebook page, or comment on any of my blog, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ posts. I love making videos and those can be found on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and Periscope. I love to pin on Pinterest and have inspirational travel boards as well as in-depth boards on destinations I have visited. I also used that site for trip planning, then post my pins once I have returned home. I love to hear your opinions. If you are interested in sharing posts, would like me to visit your spa for a review, or as a speaker for guest or staff programing, I would love to hear from you. Everything on this blog is meant to be shared, and sharing is greatly appreciated. Please make sure my content and photos are credited appropriately.  I deliver this information to you currently ad free to ensure a spa like web surfing experience. I would encourage your to fix a cup of tea, browse a while, pin, plan, and daydream. I do at times provide posts in exchange for privileges and or payment, and it will always be noted in my footnotes. I also host wellness events, follow my Facebook page for events.

I hope that my posts will inspire you to pick up the phone and book a treatment, try some new activities, explore farm to table foods, or maybe even become more aware of mindful living. As a former spa junkie, I found quick hits of serenity within spas. Over time, I have changed my life in such a way that spa treatments are now an integrated part of my wellness and less of an emergency service. Peace is something I cultivate minute by minute. All the answers we need in life can be found within ourselves, if we are wise enough to unplug and listen. Sometimes we need a friend to remind us. I hope to be one of those friends.

As a wife, a mother, and a modern Buddhist, I am focused on finding happiness everyday, no matter the circumstances of life. My passions include: spa services, travel, technology, golf, mixology, meditation, philanthropy, fitness, cooking, and nature. A really great day for me would include all of these activities AND some shoe shopping thrown in. My joy in life comes from spending time with family and friends. The best of them keep me smiling until my cheeks hurt and my belly sore from laughing. I strive to use my meditation practice in all my activities for the benefit of myself and others. I would like to share my love for people and their inspiration in my life, with you. I will not settle for anything ordinary and neither should you.

Namaste,

Erin
